Hi Jenny. I'm having a nice browse here. I really liked this Twisted series at the workshop. Seeing #2, sitting in a living room, made me wonder what the forms might do to a 3 dimensional object - painted over a sphere or a cube (or maybe a sofa).
I have recently retired from a stimulating job in the
Education section of the National Gallery in Canberra. Now I am exploring a variety of interests including my art practice, put on hold, but not ignored, for 20 years. I studied sculpture at the Canberra School of Art in the 1980s and have always had an interest in 3 dimensional work and the illusion of 3 dimensions on a flat surface. Pattern, colour and repetition, wrapping and weaving and kntting have also been an abiding obsession. Now I have time to put ideas into practice and hope to get some feedback about my work.
